ENG Démian and Nathan Joy left temporarily aside the booths to be closed at study again. The result is, Bask Connection, the new Bambú Récords EP featuring two new cuts from these two mixture magicians.
On the A side, Demian presents Disco Box a tech-house track with heavy and highly addictive cadence rythim that moves away from the hackneyed groove which the most visible face of the genre usually shows. A minimal structure that clearly develops his sound over the mesmerizing in and out of the base.
The B side is for his partner, Nathan Joy who presents us Get Funk, another tech-house cut but that time with acid dyes and sustained atmospheres.
To be mentioned too, the outstanding cover choosed for the launch, a work of the virtuous illustrator Andy Gilmore, www.birdbird.com. A piece that illustrates perfectly the sound of the album. Colorful loops over a cold and dark background sound of minimal.
ESP Démian y Nathan Joy dejan temporalmente las cabinas para encerrarse en el estudio de nuevo. El resultado es, Bask Connection, el nuevo EP de Bambú Récords que presenta dos nuevos cortes de estos dos magos de la mezcla.
En la cara A, Démian presenta Disco Box, una pista tech-house con cadencia rítmica pesada y sumamente adictiva que se aleja de los manidos grooves a los que la cara más visible del género nos tiene acostumbrados. Una estructura claramente mínimal que desarrolla su sonido sobre los vaivenes hipnotizantes de la base.
La cara B es para su socio, Nathan Joy que nos presenta Get Funk, otro corte tech-house esta vez con tintes ácidos y atmósferas sostenidas.
A destacar también la sobresaliente cubierta elegida para el lanzamiento, obra del virtuoso ilustrador Andy Gilmore, www.birdbird.com. Una pieza que ilustra perfectamente el sonido del álbum. Loops coloridos sobre un trasfondo frío y oscuro de sonoridades mínimal.
